Since its inception, The NRA Foundation, Inc., has funded more than 15,000 grants totaling over $140 million, becoming America's leading charitable organization in support of the shooting sports. The NRA Foundation continues to expand its efforts to fund a variety of programs in communities across the nation. Through its national supported programs and support of local clubs, law enforcement agencies, youth organizations, hunting and conservation groups, teachers, school children and civic associations, the foundation reaches out to meet the needs of Americans everywhere.
State Fund Grants are awarded to eligible applicants for qualifying projects or activities that promote firearms and hunting safety; enhance the marksmanship skills of those participating in the shooting sports; educate the general public about firearms in their historic, technological, and artistic context; or contribute to the general well-being of the public at large.
How Do I Apply For a Florida FNRA Grant?
State Fund Committees have been established and each are responsible for making grant funding recommendations to The NRA Foundation, Inc.’s Board of Trustees. Fund grants benefit a number of different communities including children, youth, women, individuals with physical disabilities, gun collectors, law enforcement officers, hunters, and competitive teams. State Fund Committees meet annually to review and recommend eligible projects for funding. The final approval rests with The NRA Foundation, Inc.’s Board of Trustees.
Application submissions deadlines and meeting dates are determined independently within each state. The application for the 2018-2019 cycle will be available by August 2017. You can submit an application for Florida’s 2018-2019 grant cycle starting on January 1, 2018.

Florida FNRA Grant Application Deadlines
The application deadline for consideration at the April 15, 2018 Florida State Fund Meeting is February 2, 2018.
The application deadline for consideration at the Fall (Date TBD) Florida State Fund Meeting is April 15, 2018
The application deadline for consideration at the April 15, 2019 Florida State Fund Meeting is February 2, 2019.
*Applications submitted after the deadlines will not be reviewed in that year’s cycle.

Grant applications are reviewed at State Fund Meetings. Florida has 2 State Fund Meetings:
Spring State Fund Meeting: April 21, 2018
Fall State Fund Meeting: TBD (Usually October)
